M&G QLD is the peak professional body and key advocate for Queensland’s public museums and galleries. We provide professional support for the sector through our major program areas and key services.
One of the key delivery areas of M&G QLD’s Training and Professional Development Program is the Standards Review Program, which supports museums and galleries through a process of self-review and external feedback. M&G QLD is also represented on the National Standards Taskforce which produces and updates the National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries.
M&G QLD provides information and referral services to the sector, informing them of funding opportunities; education and training opportunities; employment opportunities; and referral to industry consultants and product suppliers.
M&G QLD is also the key advocate for Queensland’s public museums and galleries and represents the sector in a range of industry forums and reviews.
