Preserving these historical artefacts is crucial for several reasons: they provide tangible connections to the past, allow us to learn about and honour those who were involved in events, and help tell important stories about Australia’s history. These objects are irreplaceable resources for both current and future generations.

The museum benefits greatly from its dedicated volunteers who help maintain the museum’s artefacts and displays. These volunteers are crucial for ensuring the museum’s collections are preserved and presented effectively to the public
