New Woman Emerging Professionals Exhibition Tour

When: Friday 22 November 2019, from 5pm

Where: Museum of Brisbane, Level 3, Brisbane City Hall
Followed by drinks at Pig 'n' Whistle, King George Square

RSVP: Leisha Walker,

Are you sick of visiting museums with friends and family who don’t know and love them as much as you? Haven’t you ever wished for enlightened conversation during your visit? Are you fresh to the sector and keen to meet other like-minded emerging professionals?

Join Queensland Emerging Professionals Network representative, Leisha, for a tour of New Woman at Museum of Brisbane, which features artwork from significant and ground-breaking female artists over the past 100 years.

Miranda Hine, Curator of New Woman, will explain the background of the project, share stories behind the exhibition and its development, and describe her experience working on the project.

After the tour, we will head to Pig ‘n’ Whistle in King George Square, where there will be the chance to debrief and chat amongst your peers about the exhibition.

This event is presented by AMaGA Emerging Professionals Network and Museums & Galleries Queensland, and supported by Museum of Brisbane.
