The Queensland Horse Racing Museum is powered by the Thoroughbred Racing History Association. It is a not-for-profit organisation established to preserve the history of the thoroughbred industry for the general public and industry participants.


It is staffed by enthusiastic volunteers who have a background in horse racing and are keen to exchange the knowledge stored in the Archive division housed on Doomben racecourse or on display at the Queensland Racing Museum, which sits in the heritage-listed Old Tote building at Eagle Farm racecourse.
