More information about Biggenden Historical Society & Museum

The museum houses a large collection of local artefacts, machinery, photos, family history records and items of historical interest. The museum also holds a collection of rocks and items from the Biggenden Mines.

The museum building is the top story of the original Paradise Goldfields courthouse dating back to the 1891s, moved to Biggenden in 1897 and served as the local police station before being moved across the road the where it now stands as the museum.
