The Galleries offer five spaces that host an innovative program of exhibitions, complimented by audio guides, gallery trails and slow looking prompts that aim to increase engagement and accessibility.  

Year-round events and workshops, as well as a commitment to educational programs and teacher professional development are also key to the Galleries’ public programs.  

Bundaberg Regional Galleries has four main collections, including the culturally significant Dr Egmont Schmidt Memorial Collection and the Bundaberg Regional Galleries collection featuring work by contemporary First Nations printmakers.

Childers Arts Space is home to the Palace Backpacker Memorial, a wall length glass mural, designed by Sam DiMauro, and dedicated tot he 15 victims of the devastating fire of 23 June 2000.
