Caboolture Military Museum
The “TROOP” was formed in 1989 from a group of enthusiastic military history buffs and horse owners with the desire to accurately portray the Australian mounted soldier through re-enactment & uniformed mounted displays.
In 1992, with an understanding from the Caboolture Historical Village, a Military Museum was built and formally opened on Anzac Day 1992.

The “TROOP” was formed in 1989 from a group of enthusiastic military history buffs and horse owners with the desire to accurately portray the Australian mounted soldier through re-enactment & uniformed mounted displays.
In 1992, with an understanding from the Caboolture Historical Village, a Military Museum was build and formally opened on Anzac Day 1992.
Over the years, the Troop has progressed from a re-enactment & display-oriented Troop to a Museum based organization offering Guided Tours to interested groups.
Tour groups will be given an opportunity to learn about our artefacts and in some cases study them up close, contact via email or website for pricing and times.
