The Canungra & District Historical Association Inc. researches and promotes the history of Canungra and its surrounding regions. Volunteers are passionate and share their enthusiasm by assisting with research enquiries, contributing articles to local publications and through engagement at local events. They want to inspire the next generation to conserve and protect local history and heritage. 

The association’s collection currently includes historical maps and land sale plans, objects and photographs from the primary school in Canungra, along with historical ambulance material and oral histories. 

The Canungra & District Historical Association Inc. is keen to network, grow and uncover more of the story of their region and they welcome inquiries from the public.
