More information about Cooneana Heritage Centre

The Historical Society museum displays are located in Cooneana Homestead (1868) and the Rhondda Collieries building (1976). We exhibit coal mining machinery, videos and displays of mining tools and equipment, and we have a working blacksmith shop. The varied cultural, industrial and architectural aspects of Ipswich are the focus of our museum.
