Lapunyah Art Gallery is a regional Art Gallery located in the Cultural Precinct in Chinchilla. It has recently undergone extensive renovations and expansion.

Lapunyah offers two formal gallery spaces with a special emphasis on promoting local and regional creatives. Services include workshop or event space hire, regularly changing exhibitions, local arts and crafts merchandise, quality art supplies and mentoring of artists. The Gallery is managed by Lapunyah Art Gallery Inc. with Volunteer only staff. Our Vision is to Inspire Creative and Cultural expression by being a catalyst for the development and delivery of arts and culture within our community.

LAGs Gallery 1 exhibition program includes local artists and arts groups, touring exhibitions, competitions, regional artists and diverse groups (e.g. youth, disability, NAIDOC). Gallery 2 generally has a gallery-based exhibition which runs on a SEE, BUY, TAKE principle allowing visitors to acquire their artworks immediately thus giving a greater opportunity for sales. LAG Inc also runs community events such as Markets@Lapunyah, Music@Lapunyah and Workshops@Lapunyah. We also enter into partnerships with other NFPs to expand Arts and Culture within our community.
