More information about Logan Village Museum

Logan Village was founded in 1863 and Logan Village Musuem sits on a site a stone’s throw away from the Logan River, the heart of the area in Pioneering times. The Museum consists of four historical buildings, all of which have been re-located to their current position from the local area, giving our visitors a glimpse of life since early pioneering days.

The displays consist of local Australian First Peoples and European colonist history, music, family life, schooling, local participation in protecting our country through war, and industries that were once the hub of the community. Our volunteers are always ready to make visitors welcome and share their knowledge with enthusiasm for their local area.
