More information about Mayes Cottage

The Mayes first home, a slab hut built in 1872, is still in its original position. Their second home, a typical Queensland cottage, was built in 1887 and still houses much of the original furniture.

You’re welcome to enjoy a picnic or share a yarn on the veranda with our friendly guides.
