A not-for-profit organisation run by members and volunteers, the Queensland Military Historical Society Inc recently opened its new museum at Fort Lytton National Park.

The museum includes many significant items including a soldier’s diary written at Gallipoli, letters, photographs, personal items, uniforms and equipment all acquired from Queensland men and women who joined the services over the last 150 years.
