The Woodworks Forestry Museum & Interpretive Centre has unique historical displays and live demonstrations, including a fully operational steam-driven sawmill (operating every Friday), a blacksmith’s shop, crosscut saw pit and tool demonstrations.

The Museum also includes: drays and wagons; chain-saws; a replica gold mine; large photographic displays of early industrial and modern forest management processes; multimedia exhibits featuring historical and modern footage of forest management and timber processing; and buildings and displays featuring modern timber products and innovative timber design. 

The grounds includes plenty of space for family outings, picnic tables and room for ‘littlies’ to run around. Free onsite parking included.
