The 2020 Conference was organised and hosted by Historic Ormiston House. The conference included:

• Keynote and parallel presentations.
• A guided tour of Historic Ormiston House.
• Workshops and panel discussions.

This year’s conference theme was Environment, Heritage, Sustainability. In a rapidly changing heritage landscape, the need for museums to be sustainable is increasingly important. Museums are urged to make sustainable choices when considering staffing, finances and environmental decisions. For small museums, these decisions can be in conflict with the needs and expectations of volunteers and reliance on constrained budgets.
