Workforce Wellbeing Workshop

Committed to advocating for the holistic wellbeing of professionals in the sector, M&G QLD will be running a Workforce Wellbeing Workshop in partnership with the Australian Museums and Galleries Association, Queensland (AMaGAQ) and Public Galleries Queensland (PGQ) at Queensland Museum, South Bank on Wednesday 9 August 2023.

About the event

While we have an increasing number of health and wellbeing programs for audiences and communities in museums, galleries and keeping places, it is vital to not overlook the wellbeing of the sector’s dedicated staff and volunteers.

Join us to discover practical strategies and expert insights that will empower you and your team to create a culture of care to prioritise workforce wellbeing and build personal resilience. Our experienced presenter, Lucy Harrington, will guide you through a multitude of essential aspects, including duty of care, common mental health issues such as anxiety and burnout, and how to support oneself and others. Lucy is a Principal Master Trainer with Mental Health First Aid Australia.

Feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues and peers so that they can also benefit from this workshop. Together, let’s create a workplace culture that empowers, inspires, and uplifts our teams and advances our sector.

Following the workshop will be informal networking to enable you to further connect and network with your peers. More details to come.

If you have any questions or require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected]
