More information about Ipswich Soldiers Memorial Hall Museum

On entering you will see the crypt and honour boards, moving further into the museum you arrive in the main hall where our stained glass window can be viewed. The hall also contains a collection of original paintings commemorating the light horse. There are several glass display cabinets containing memorabilia.

On the second floor is a large collection of uniforms, photos, display cases and several rooms with themed displays.

We have an extensive collection of handmade post cards from World War I and several diaries from soldiers of WWI.
