Andrew Uttley Architecture is an arts focused design practice, lead by Andrew Uttley. AUA has collaborated on projects with the Queensland Museum, Cob & Co Museum, Museum of Tropical Queensland and the Sunshine Coast Council. They have experience in developing exhibitions, institutional master planning strategy, building design and documentation, user group workshops and stakeholder engagement and collection storage strategy.

Combining museum and gallery experience with architectural training places allows AUA a unique understanding of the complex programmatic and spatial requirements of exhibition and collection storage spaces.

AUA works with architects to provide understanding of exhibition and collection storage spaces, building flow and sequence and visitor interaction. They also engage directly with institutions to provide pre-design and brief development, collection management strategy, exhibition design, architectural and interior design, design documentation and project management services.

AUA brings understanding of resilient, future-proof planning of museum and gallery spaces to the design process, with detailed knowledge of contemporary museum and collection practices.
