More information

Empathy First, a Brisbane-based social enterprise, provides tailored speaking, education and training in Healthy Empathy for museums and galleries. Our interactive workshops explore the vital role of practicing empathy in a healthy way in the Arts for both visitors and staff, with a focus on topics like emotional vocabulary, self regulation, unconscious biases, and empathic literacy.

We’ve collaborated with the UQ Art Museum on cultural mediation and with MAMA on team dynamics and visitor engagement, ensuring sessions are fun, engaging, and impactful. These partnerships highlight our commitment to empowering museums and galleries with the tools to create meaningful connections, both within their teams and with their audiences.
