Lindy Allen is an independent cultural heritage advisor, consultant, researcher, valuer, and curator with over 40 years experience in the museum sector with a focus on Australian Indigenous (Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander) cultural heritage, museum and art collections (objects, photographs, original records, related archival and historical sources).


They are currently on the Provider List for the delivery of services under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Act 1984, and the Register of Expert Examiners for the Committee under The Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Act 1986.

— Curatorial work including research and development of collections (acquisition, deaccession, research and documentation), policy, storage, exhibitions, databases and on-line content
