Stephanie has been working in the gallery and museums sector for over twenty years.
Her career is closely aligned to her studies in art history, contemporary arts practice and life experience as a parent and educator. She is an arts manager who also practises as a curator and visual arts educator, having undertaken extensive international research in children’s and family programming in museums and galleries.
Her major curatorial projects include the exhibitions Eidetic Experiences, Shifting Sights, When I was young, Panoramic Queensland, The Lindsays and Straddie Style. Stephanie led the redevelopment of the State Library of Queensland exhibition galleries from 2003-2006 and has sat on national, state and Brisbane industry committees and boards. Most recently she held the positions of General Manager, Art from the Margins Gallery & Studios, and Director at Redland Art Gallery in Cleveland.
With postgraduate studies in business and art history, her professional experience extends to planning and policy development and arts writing.
