North Bundaberg Railway Museum

This museum is the preserved original North Bundaberg Railway Station, built in 1881. This Railway Historical Museum is a train-buffs haven with memorabilia, signal cabin, guard’s van, old rolling stock, miniature diesel loco, ganger shed and more.

Bundaberg’s first railway station, built in 1881 was used as an outlet for the Mt Perry railway bringing copper from the mines. Now it is preserved as a Museum displaying photos, uniforms and catering items, office records, engine driver’s manuals, tools, timetables and rule books.
